PURPOSE
Infection prevention is a role that belongs to everyone in a community; however, the two groups that have the most impact on stopping the transmission of disease are nursing and environmental services (EVS). This webinar is designed to equip EVS, as well as nursing staff, in minimizing infection risks in their community by identifying causal factors, prevention strategies and evidence-based practices that can be easily utilized in a variety of settings.
