PURPOSE
Care centers that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs are required to be in compliance with the
recently updated Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidance on minimum health and safety
standards in Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities by Oct. 24, 2022.
Part 1 – Overview of CMS Revisions to State Operations Manual Appendix PP
This session provides an overview of the Requirements of Participation (ROP) updates and creates a foundation
for future topics in the series.
