PURPOSE
Care centers that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs are required to be in compliance with the
recently updated Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidance on minimum health and safety
standards in Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities by Oct. 24, 2022.
Part 4 – Trauma Informed Care and Quality of Care
With new guidance from CMS on the importance of trauma informed and culturally competent care, it is necessary to
implement care approaches that take these into consideration. This webinar will focus on providing quality care
within this context.
