PURPOSE
This EduCare training covers the new 1-hour annual mandatory training requirement for mental illness and de-escalation. All staff need 2-hours of initial training on these topics by July 1, 2025 as established in 144G.64. If you use EduCare as your annual training program partner, this content is already available for you through EduCare. For each year after that staff need 1 hour of training on topics related to mental illness and deescalation. Topics covered include: Mental Illness and De-escalation.
